    Las Vegas - August 12. 1953 w 1-7-2 This refers to your letter of July 10, 1953, File BD 1-18 relative to uncollected accounts for six months or more as of June 1, 1953, along with numerous accounts shown on May 1st list that had not been paid. In regard to the accounts shown on the May 1st list, all accounts with the exception of account numbers 20^5, 5502, 7670, 868^ and 10307 have been paid or partial payments received. Account number 8659A is in bankruptcy and Is being handled by the Legal Department. With regard to the list of accounts outstanding for six months or more as of June 1, 1953, 1 am attaching hereto, original list showing status in the remarks column, which reflect approximately 98$ collected. The accounts listed in the second paragraph of this letter are uncollected due to various complications such as, former tenant owing for service, property sold former owner out of state and various other reasons. Please be assured that we are endeavoring to locate parties owing for service and to make collections, I am aware that there are many other accounts that are delinquent from four to six months of which we are investigating and making personal calls on users, In an effort to bring these accounts up-to-date.
