Re Transfer of Water Appropriation From Well No, 1 to Shop Well Las Vegas, Nevada Jane 11, 1954 Mr, E. E, Bennett: Mr, A. D. Hanson Mr. V. w. Smith v Mr. w. A, Jurden Mr, L. R. Maag ^ Supplementing my letter of June 1, 1954, I am pleased to transmit herewith Permit No* 15140, transferring 2,5 e,f,s, of water from Well No, 1 under Permit 7200, Certificate No, 1631, to the shop well, and authorizing the appropriation of said amount of water from the new location. Please note that the entire amount of water appropriated under Permit No, 7200 has now heen transferred to the new point of diversion, I respectfully draw your attention to the provisions in the enclosed Permit relative to the various proofs to he filed on the dates stated therein and assume that we will comply with these conditions when furnished' with the necessary information by Mr, Jurden, In keeping with the suggestions made in your letter of June 8, 1954, to Mr, Hanson, it seems to me that we are now in a position of determining the actual amount of water which can be developed from the existing shop well, as well as the exact location of the proposed new well so that a decision can be made as to the proportion of the 2,5 c,f,s, of water which is to be transferred to the proposed new well. When this has been done, I think we should then submit an application for authority to transfer said amount of water to the proposed new well and combine in said application a request for a permit to drill the proposed new well. As heretofore stated to you, such application will have to be published for a period of 30 days, followed by a protest period of another 30 days, I assume that Roscoe Moss Company will either confirm or revise their bid on the basis of the foregoing time limitation, and I will await further advice from you in the premises. l l f f i l M m CALVIN M, CORY ?
