I Las Vegas - August 5* 1953 Mr. A. D. Hanson - Salt Lake City Co i Mr. Wia. Reinhardt Mr. V. W. Smith Please refer to your letter of August X* 1953 relative to qualifications of Mr. Mel Anderson, for employment with the Las Vegas Land and Water Company, in connection with the operation of water production facilities recently acquired from the Railroad Company. I appreciate your letter and will discuss the matter of Mr. Anderson’s employment with Mr, Reinhardt at an early date. However, in view of the impending sale of the Water Company to the Las Vegas Valley Water District, I feel that, if it is decided to offer Mr. Anderson employment, 1 should talk to him personally and explain the condition under which he would work, if employed. It may be that he would not be agreeable to moving to Las Vegas in view of the uncertainty as to whether the Water Company will be sold to the Water District within the next few months. L.
