Our conservation program was very successful last year and { have again been offered the fall cooper­ation of the City officials and the press* the Chief cf Felice yesterday, they agreed to employ an additional uniformed officer during the summer months to be assigned the duties of enforcing the City Ordinance prohibiting the waste of water. 1 agreed to participate in this expense 0 _ in previous years and will issue a voucher for $W$.QO each month, April to September inclu­sive In favor bf the City to help defray this expense. Bennett and Denton give consideration to renewal of our publicity campaign this summer. I am sure our program last year thoroughly aroused the citiseas to the neces­sity for conserving the water supply in the underground channel and X believe the newspaper contest among school children for appropriate slogans was particularly effect­ive. subject and if you concur would like to get the program under way by April 1st.
