I agree.57. Goneumption during the maximum month and the supply of water available from various sources are plotted on Figure 16. This figure indicates that with the use of 8.0 MOD from BMI, the supply to the District is adequate only until 1958. Beyond this date, it will be necessary to supplement the supply with additional direct supply lines from Lake Mead. It shopld be noted that any decrease in the use of private wells will not affect the total water required from Lake Mead, inasmuch as water released from private wells will then be available to the public supply wells. T&e estimated consumption of water from the underground and Lake Mead sources during the average and maximum conditions is given in Table 7. 9. Projects for Adequate Water Supply Provision of additional water supply in Las Vegas Valley involves principally water supply for the urban area and for Paradise Valley. Any additional water to the area must be distributed in such a way as to afford reasonable and rela-able service to the consumers. Because of the current water shortage, consideration has been given to the utilization of water from the BMI system. However, the only ultimate solu-j tion for an adequate water supply is the development of an I independent supply from Lake Mead.
