'68" opens tonight in the Crystal Room of the Desert Inn, a dazzling new revue created, staged and directed by Donn Arden and produced by Frank Sennes. Lavish production numbers will feature a Hollywood "High Camp" in mad - mod manner, a tribute to the artistry of Fred Astaire, a zany salute to motion pictures, an explosive boom- town presentation complete with burning oil well, and a Foreign Legion finale glorifying the memorable "Beau Geste" epics. "PZAZZ! '68" has a cast of 70 singers, dancers and showgirls, with five headliners: The Snyder Brothers with their refreshingly funny act; Rudy Cardenas, an astonishingly agile juggler; Bambi McOormick, "The most spectacular revue I have ever seen in Las Vegas" - Fiorabei iviuir young singer with an extraordinarily beautiful voice; The Agostinos, acrobatic dance team; Galla Shawn, trapeze performer. '"PZAZZ," of course, means the most of everything ?╟÷ the zingiest, the jazziest, the greatest. Certainly the costumes for "PZAZZ! '68" are the greatest, since exotic and costly fabrics from many lands were selected for the spectacular revue. Designed by Bill Campbell and} executed by Berman of Holly- j wood, the 350 costumes are key- f ed to dazzle the eye. More than 60 per cent of the! music for "PZAZZ! '68" is original, written specially for the revue by Jim Harbert with lyrics by Leonard Adelson. Pro-' duction design and art direction is by Harvey Warren. Musical accompaniment is by Carlton Hayes and his orchestra. Produced by Frank Sennes. Created and Directed by Donn Arden.
