    GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Whipple moved the application of Anna Hae Weller, Lido Bar, Additional 107 North 1st for one additional slot machine license for the second quarter- of 1950 be granted Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Whipple .and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. CRANER TRAILER COURT Commissioner Whipple moved the business license of the Craner Trailer Court, License Revoked 129 South 7th Street be revoked and the City Manager instructed to follow through to see that this use is discontinued. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent; Commissioners Bunker and Moore. LIQUOR APPLICATION Commissioner Peccole moved the application of Marguerite White, Log Cabin Bar, 123 Log Cabin Bar North 1st Street for a Retail Tavern Liquor license be tabled. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. PROPOSED ORDINANCE Commissioner Peccole, member of the committee for report on the proposed ordinance Pawnbrokers amending the Pawnbrokers ordinance asked for additional time before reporting. ORDINANCE NO. 409 An Ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE DETERMINATION OF THE BOARD OF Assessment District COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS TO MAKE CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF #100 - 7 LAS VEGAS BY INSTALLING COMPLETE STREET LIGHTING FACILITIES WITH STEEL STANDARDS AND SINGLE OVERHEAD WIRE ON SERIES LIGHTING SYSTEM ALONG CERTAIN STREETS AND POR- TIQNS OF STREETS IN SAID CITY; PROVIDING THAT THE. COST AND EXPENSE THEREOF SHALL BE PAID ENTIRELY BY SPECIAL ASSESSMENT UPON ALL THE LOTS INCLUDED WITHIN THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT HEREBY ESTABLISHED ACCORDING TO FRONTAGE; AND OTHER- MATTERS RELATING THERETO, was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Whipple moved the foregoing entitled ordinance No. 409 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. Commissioner Whipple moved the public hearing on the proposed Assessment District #100-7 be held April 25, 1950 at the hour of 3:00 P.M. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent : Commissioners Bunker and Moore. ORDINANCE NO. 410 An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE EMPOWERING, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE Assessment District EX-OFFICIO CITY ASSESSOR OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, COUNTY OF CLARK, STATE OF NEVADA, #200-1 TO LEVY A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT TO DEFRAY THE COST OF MAKING CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY BY INSTALLING A SANITARY SEWER IN THE SAID CITY ACCORDING TO THE PLATS, DIAGRAMS AND ESTIMATES OF COST THEREOF ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, DESCRIBING DEFINITELY THE LOCATION OF SAID IMPROVEMENTS, STATING THE AMOUNT OF SAID ASSESSMENT, AND DESCRIBING AND DESIGNATING THE LOCALITY CONSTITUTING THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED ACCORDING TO THE BENEFITS AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO, having been reported on favorably by Commissioner Peccole, was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Whipple moved the foregoing entitled ordinance no. 410 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. Commissioner Whipple moved that Ordinance No. 410 on Assessment District No. 200-1 be referred to the Assessor to prepare the Assessment Roll. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. ZONE VARIANCE #84 Commissioner Peccole moved that pursuant to the favorable recommendation of the James O. Hall Regional Planning Commissioner contained in their letter of April 5, 1950 the request of James O. Hall, 702 Adams Street for zone variance from R - 1 to R -3, Case #84, be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. R/W CHARLESTON BLVD. Commissioner Peccole moved the City Manager investigate the securing of property Pauline Kline from Pauline Kline for the right of way on Charleston Boulevard and report back to the Board. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. TRANSFORMER - 10th COMMISSIONER Peccole moved the matter of the Transformer at 10th and Charleston & Charleston Boulevard be referred to the City Manager.
