In connection with Work Order 3180, Las Vegas Water F a c ilitie s , I am submitting herewith, 2 prints of Drawing F»36l-3, dated November 1, 19^5» showing uncompleted portion o f pipe lin e work authorized under this work order. The work remaining to be completed under Work Order 3180, including pipe lin e work indicated on prin t, is summarized as follows: (1 ) Remove existing pipe lin e from Well 8 to Wells 9 and 10 as shown in black and white on attached prin t, haul salvaged pipe to store in Las Vegas and b a c k fill open trench* (2 ) Construct 12" 0*1. pipe lin e from Well No. 9 to Junction with lin e from Well 11 to settlin g basin as shown in cadmium color on attached prin t, using 1 2 * G »I. pipe salvaged from existing lin e Wells 9 to 10 and b a c k fill trench. (3 ) In sta ll f i r e pump and e le c tric a l panel in Fire Pump House* The fi r e pump is now available in the freigh t depot at Las Vegas and the eleotrioal panel w ill be received at an early date* Pipe fittin g s fo r fir e pump are on hand at Las Vegas Store. (k ) Check alignment of booster pumps in Booster Pump House a fte r electrical connections are completed* This item w ill be handled from my o ffic e * Please advise when eleotrioal connections are completed. (5 ) In s ta ll Drain Dri sump pump in Booster Pump House. This pump has not yet been received but delivery at Las Vegas is expected In January, 19*1-7. ( 6) In s ta ll transformers at Booster Pump House and oomplete in s t a lla ­tion o f power switches and connections to booster pumps. (7 ) In s ta ll fence with gate at transformers near Booster Pump House* This fence and gate has been requisitioned on Reqn. 6*1-232 and should be reoeived in Las Vegas in November. ( 8) In s ta ll l 6* check valves in l 6" main on east side of Ogden and Clark Street meters Immediately below the meters within the lim its of the meter by-pass. Pipe and fit t in g s fo r this work are available in Las Vegas Store.
