Kennedy (late) Jodi McMillin (late) Terry Morrow Helene Pobst Scott Schwartz Walt Vodrazka the meeting to order at 5:43p.m. ABSENT John Pida (unexcused) Rehan Anwar (unexcused) Nicole Chellino (unexcused) Eric Fergen (unexcused) Jamie Fox (unexcused) Chad Haddock (unexcused) Chris Ray (unexcused) Michael Volkert (unexcused) QUORUM NOT ATTAINED. III ANNOUNCEMENTS SENATE PRESIDENT ROMERO stated that he is very upset that the meeting cannot be held. VICE PRESIDENT LAGOMARSINO announces that the Governors Debate is on the 22nd. Dinner will be on Student Government sign up sheet in Student Government office. IV GALLERY RECOGNITION PAT SMITH running for a Senator position in the College of Business and Economics. SAM KUSHNER also running for a Senate position in the College of Business & Economics. JULIE WONG running for a Senate position in the Education College. PAGE TWO SENATE MINUTES NO. 24-22 JUL 7 tfafff'W V OPEN DISCUSSION SENATE PRESIDENT ROMERO informed the Senators that are present that the next meeting will make quorum, and that they should consider waving the Bylaw regarding a vote on the Directors positions and the budget to be tabled until the next meeting. Beth Godfrey has been interviewed for the Senate Secretary position. Has spoken to Pro- Tempore Pida and he will be in charge of the Senate Committees and the Senate Chambers. Senators need to check their boxes each week. He should be getting copies of each committees meeting times and distributing them in the boxes. The meetings will be moved to 6:00p.m. during the summer, so that more Senators will be able to attend. VICE PRESIDENT LAGOMARSINO he is going to try to contact all the Directors to be at the next meeting because he believes it is important for the Senators to meet and question them. VI. ADJOURNMENT SENATE PRESIDENT ROMERO adjourned the meeting at 5:50p.m. STUDENT SENATE 24TH SESSION THE FOLLOWING IS A COMPREHENSIVE LIST OF UNEXCUSED ABSENCES SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE 24TH SENATE SESSION THROUGH 6-17-94.
