Bennett - Los Angeles) Please refer to Mr. Bennett*s letter of April 21}., 1953, copy to you, concerning extension of LVL&WCo. owned i*w CIP water line serving industries located on the west side of Main St. and south of Clark Ave. at Las Vegas, Hevada. Contract Audit Ho. 8727 covers this pipe line. In the event the Railroad Company sells its water facilities to the LVLItWCo., two Industries, The Texas Company and Roach Distributing Co., now served by privately owned connections to Railroad Company water line, will be without water service as Railroad Company may not serve water to any outside party after the sale. Attached are three prints of drawing J-l*l for your use. Please prepare request for authority to extend the l*n CIP pipeline. In accordance with our conversation I believe the extension should be made with 6 Inch pipe rather than Ij. Inch.
