page 2. « d. Gift pipe lines, ttt*. Reinhardt said these did not amount to a great deal- that they probably would include them. e. Fire Hydrants. These belong to the City. Certain valves do not belong, to the City. There is some accounting for them. f . Valves. Valves have not been listed, because the State of Nevada does not require a report of valves. g. Rt. /Ways. Especially along the pipe lines (Transmission lines) between the w e l l s . h. Office Bldg. The UP wishes to retain the building. They would be willing to consider leasing the present water utility space used by L&W Co. if we wished to continue business at the”old joint” i. Water Rights. There will be an item for Water rights. How much, I was not told. I discussed the pro and con at great length-and the "guess” that their lawyer would have to present. j . Stock of L&W Co. This will be liquidated. k. Deeds from UP. Mr. Reinhardt stated that these deeds will not be blockades to progress. Maybej some of them will have to go to Few York for signature. Some papers will be signed in Omaha. l. Real Estate hold-outs. These areas will be.carefully delineated as not being transferred. m. Further extensions. I asked that the District be informed in advance should further expenditures be contemplated in extending the distributing system. Not that we could stop them, but that we did have an interest in the final picture, and wanted to be in or advised, at least, should they start a spending program now. Greeley and Hansen Engineers secured from the U P a list of exhibits, which were read across the table to me, but which I did not personally read. About ten items on the list, ending with a map of the Distributing system. Pressing , as to the last item, and to whom such a distributing pipe map should go, Mr. Reinhardt ordered a Mr. Johnson to prepare for us another map, and forget what G&H ha.d. Intangibles: Going Concern, Framchise Value, Good Will. These were discussed, and without holding Mr. Reinhardt to direct opinions, it is safe to believe that intangibles will not be entered as sale value items. The chain of command tops in Mr. Reinhard until the lawyers take over. It may reasonably be assumed that agreements reached, which have Mr. Reinhardt*s approval, will ripple up the line without questioning interruptions of higher echelons.
