The applicant is hereby authorized to proceed as described herein* using materials and equipment only of the kind, type, s iz e , and capacity approved by the War Produc­tion Board in Section I I I ; such materials and equipment may be used in quantities required unless s p e c ific a lly restricted elsewhere herein. 2. The preference rating noted below i s hereby assigned for the purchase of equipment and m aterials, other than controlled m aterials, authorized for use herein, except that ratings s p e c ific a lly assigned in Column (f) of Section I II should be used for items so designated instead of the rating assigned below. 3. CMP allotment symbol U-2 is hereby assigned for the purchase of a ll controlled mate­r ia ls and Clatss A products authorized for use herein. q. The applicant i s authorized to purchase from other producers and operators, as de­fined in U t i l i t i e s Orders, any material authorized for use herein without the use of a preference rating or allotment symbol. 5. The CMP allotment symbol and preference ratings assigned herein may not be used to order materials and equipment available in the ap p lican t's inventory in excess of a p ra ctica l working minimum. They may be used to replace materials and equipment in inventory, but only to the extent that inventory has been reduced below a p ra ctica l working minimum. 6. The applicant must not use the CMP allotment symbol or preference ratings assigned herein to obtain delivery of materials and equipment e a r lie r or in greater quantity than required for the construction or in sta lla tio n . 7. Items marked "Limited" in Column (f) of Section I II may not be used in quantities which exceed those approved in Columns (c) and (d) of Section I I I . 8. Orders for controlled materials placed pursuant to th is authorization must show CMP allotment symbol U-2 and must specify the month in which delivery is requested. Orders for materials and equipment, other than controlled materials, to which the pref­erence ratings assigned herein are applied must also show CMP allotment symbol U-2 for id e n tifica tio n purposes. g .
