I agree.Los Vega a - October 12, 1943 W 23*3 Mr. Alfred Merritt Smith State Ebgl&eer Carson City, Nevada Dear Slrt Referring to your letter Sept. 28th, addressed to Mr* McNamee and our subsequent conversation with yourself and Mr. Shamberger, regarding our application Ho. 10128, covering Appropriation of water from Well Ho. 2 at Lae Vegas. Coder date of January 28, 1936, we filed with your office two applicationsj Ho. 10127 covered 2.7 e,.f,s. for Municipal Use. Ho. 10128 covered 2.4138 o.f.s. for Irrigation at the Ranch. Both of these applications were filed on our Well Ho. 2. Since that time we have submitted final proof of application of water to beneficial use wider Application Ho. 10127, covering Municipal Use and received a certificate therefor. However, the amount of water produced by Well Ho. 2 1^ entirely covered by the Application for Municipal Use, leaving nothing for Irrigation. tinder the circumstances, we can not file the "Proof of Application of Water to Beneficial use and Cultural Map", covering use of this water in irrigation, inasmuch as all of it was used for municipal purposes in the City. Yours very truly, 'WAtta R. BRAC&EH oc * Mr. Leo A. MeNamee
