The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas is hereby authorized and directed to have this ordinance published in the ________________________________LAS VEGAS AGE___________________________________________________________ published in the City of Las Vegas, once each week for two weeks. Passed and adopted this 5th day of April , A. D. 1937, by the following vote of the City Commissioners: Ayes: Commissioners Down, Krause and Marble, and His Honor the Mayor, L. L. Arnett.______ Nays: None_______________________________________________ Absent Commissioner Perry___________________________________________________________ First reading April 5th, 1937_____________, second and final reading May 6th, 1937__________ Approved this __________ day of 1937. Mayor of the City of Las Vegas. Attest: City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas. This ordinance was read aloud to the Board of Commissioners for the first time at a regular meeting of the Board held on the 5th day of April, 1937, at which time it was proposed, considered and voted upon and unanimously adopted and there after published in the Las Vegas Age, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas, for a period of once a week for two consecutive weeks, immediately following its first reading. It was thereafter read aloud to the Board for a second time, adopted, approved and finally passed at a recessed regular meeting of the Board held on the 6th day of May, 1937. Voting aye: Commissioners Down, Krause, Marble, and Perry______ and His Honor the Mayor. Noes, None_____. Absent None . Approved: L. L. SQUIRES being duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is PUBLISHER of Las Vegas Age, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached ORDINANCE NO. 223 OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS was published in said newspaper for a period of TWO WEEKS from APRIL 9, 1937 to APRIL 16, 1937 inclusive being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: APRIL 9 and 16, 1937 That said newspaper was regularly issued and circulated on each of the dates above named.
