X now enclose for your further consideration letter from State Highway Department dated May 8th which is self-explanatory. They are anxious to proceed with acquisition of right-of-way for widening Horth Main, and due to the question of whether Mr. Cahl&n will exercise his option on the 100-foot strip south of Sears-Roebuck, thoy have prepared a commitment to cower this strip which h&S been executed by Mr. Cahlan and they request similar execution on behalf of the Water Company. Proposed fora of dead cowering the 447 feet which we still own is also attached together with prints. A. M. folger
