I agree.SAN PEDRO, LOS ANGELES AND SALT LAKE RAILROAD COMPANY ? I enclose copies of reports of Frof. Merrill, of his recent inspection of the so-called Beaver irrigated project near Milford, and attempting to develop. I am informed that Messrs. Moody and Snow have concluded their final arrangements for developing the Beaver project at Milford, and I am confident that it will develop into a large and profitable irrigated region, as they have plenty of water and there seems to be no question about the character of the soil. The Manix project seems more problematical, as no one yet has been able to develop an adequate supply of water there. Yours truly, C. J. BALCH, ASSISTANT TO GENERAL MANAGER, H. C. NUTT, GENERAL MANAGER. LOS ANGELES. CALIFORNIA. I Inspection of land near Milford and Mahix.. May 22, 1913 Mr. Y. H. Bancroft ?4lr. J. Ross Clark ipecial Committee I Fncl:
