Assistant City Attorney Ralston Hawkins advised the Commission that the Civil Aeronautics Board has a petition by the City of Dallas, Texas for more transportation from Dallas to Las Vegas. He indicated that the City Attorney's office feels this case is vital to the future development of our City and Clark County since at the present time it involves ten to twelve airlines, all of which would be interested in serving Las Vegas. He requested permission for the City to intervene in this Case and for the City to invite the Chamber of Commerce and Clark County to join with us in this intervention. Commissioner Sharp moved the request of the City Attorney's office to intervene in this Dallas to West Coast Service Case before the C. A. B. be approved and the Chamber of Commerce and Clark County be extended an invitation to join with the City in this regard.
