I agree.UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA, LAS VEGAS Office of the President 4505 Maryland Parkway Las Vegas, Nevada 89154 (702) 739-3201 March 24, 1988 Mrs. Edythe Katz 1273 Park Circle Las Vegas, Nevada 89102 Dear Edythe: It gives me great pleasure to announce that at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 1988, former President Jimmy Carter will appear in Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall on our campus under the auspices of the Barrick Lecture Series. President Carter, who was elected in 1971 as the 76th governor of the state of Georgia, and in 1976 as the 39th President of the United States, served the country from January 20, 1977 until January 20, 1981. "An Evening With Former President Jimmy Carter" should prove to be as interesting and varied as the life of this graduate of Annapolis and former naval officer. I hope you can attend President Carter's lecture as my guest in the reserved seating section of Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall. Please contact my office by Friday, April 7, to let us know if you can attend. We will send you two tickets. Sincerely, Robert C. Maxson President RCM:j j R.S.V.P. by April 7 739-3201
