X unanimously adopted: WHEREAS, under date of October 27, 1947,' LVL&WCo. entered into agreement with Nevada Construction Company ("NMLD 1955), covering construction of a 10-inch water main from connec­tion with existing 8 " water main at south end of Block 12, Boulder Dam Addition, easterly a distance of 590 ft. in Oakey Ave. to intersection of Third Street and Oakey Ave., to serve Frontier Im­provement Company in Blocks 2 and 3, South Fifth Street Tract No. 1, Las Vegas, Nevada; consideration $1,085; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of said parties to amend said agreement “N^LD 1955: THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing supplemental agreement "N^LD 2001, dated December 5, 1947, between said parties, amending Section 2 of said agreement "N’^D 1955 to provide footage of 350 ft. in lieu of 590 ft., and Section 3 of said agreement to provide considera­tion of $725 in lieu of $1,085; be, and the same is hereby, rati­fied, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of President and Asst. Secre­tary Matthai in executing LVL&WCo. L.S. Deed Audit 4919, dated December 6 , 1947, conveying unto Haas, Baruch & Co., Grantee, a parcel of land containing 2,729 sq. ft., being a portion of Lot 19 of 500-Acre Tract of the Los Angeles Fruitland Association, located at Vernon, California; subject to: 1 - General and special taxes for the fiscal year 1947-1948, including any special district levies, payment for which is -5-
