    meeting adjourn until the 17th day of April, 1928, at the hour of 7:30 O'clock P.M. OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. April 17, 1928. At an adjourned regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, held on the 17th day of April, 1928, at the hour of 7:30 O'Clock P.M. Present; His Honor, J.F. Hesse; Commissioners W.B. Mundy, and W.C. German, together with the City Attorney and Clerk. Absent: Commissioners Roy Neagle, and O.J. Smith. Meeting called to order by the Mayor. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried it was ordered that the moneys collected by the City Clerk, Municipal Judge, and Plumbing Inspector, for licenses, fines and fees, respectively totaling $1,367.75, be apportioned as follows; to-wit: The sum of $993.00 to the general fund; the sum of $330.50 to the Police and Fire Fund; and the sum of $44.25 to the Water, Sewer and Light Fund. After discussion of ways and means of establishing a Municipal Air Port in this City, This meeting was adjourned upon motion, duly made and carried, until the 18th day of April 1928, at the hour of 7:30 O'clock P.M. OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. April 8, 1928. At an adjourned regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas Clark County, Nevada, held on the 18th day of April, 1928, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. Present: His Honor, the Mayor, J. F. Hesse; Commissioners O.J. Smith, W.B. Mundy, and W.C. Ger­man, together with the City Attorney and Clark. Absent: Commissioner Roy Neagle. Meeting called to order by the Mayor. On motion of Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner Mundy, the following Resolution was duly adopted: WHEREAS, it is deemed for the best interest of the City of Las Vegas, to pur­chase the following described land. BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Las Vegas enter into an option to purchase the following described land situated within the City Limits of the City of Las Vegas, from First State Bank of Las Vegas, Nevada, Inc., for the full purchase price of $8492.00 payable as follows: $3,992.00 cash down and $4500.00 with interest payable on or before June 9, 1929, with the the privilege of extensions of said option by payment of $1000.00 and interest on or before June 9,1929; $1000.00 with interest on or before June 9, 1930; $1000.00 with int­erest on or before June 9, 1931, all interest being at the rate of 7% per annum, such option to bear date the 9th day of April , 1928, and in the form and on the conditions contained in the draft thereof, as presented to this meeting; that this said option be executed on behalf of and in the name of said City, by the Mayor, and attested by the City Clerk under the seal of said City; that said initial payment be made as follows: $2500.00 from the publicity fund and $1492.00 from the General Fund, and that warrants be drawn on the proper funds by the proper officers of this City in payment of the same; said land being more particularly described as follows to-wit: All of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) and the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4), and the West half (W 1/2) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) all in section thirty (30) Township twenty (20) South, Range sixty-one (61) East M.D.B.& M., Con­taining 220 acres of land more or less.
