    Las Vegas - June 28, 1954 Hr, J. 0, Riser, Business Manager Union Pacific Railroad Employes Hospital Association Wo, 19 West Salt Lake Ci tSyo u1t,h UTteamhple Street Bear Hr, Risen This refers to your letter dated June 18, 1954, relative to Increase in monthly dues to the Hospital Association which became effective June 1, 1954, In accordance with instructions contained in Union Pacific Railroad Company Disbursement's Bulletin Humber 27-6 dated at Omaha June 1, 1954, payroll deductions for Hospital Association Benefits was increased to |5,00 per month effec­tive June 1, 1954, for all of our local employees who are eligible for benefits under the Hospital Plan, All of the eligible employees of this Company were advised of the increase which was agreeable to them, although no circular was Issued as mentioned in your letter of June 18th, 1 might mention, however, that this increase will only be effective for these employees for the month of June, 1954, since the water operations of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company will be discontinued effective midnight of June 30, 1954, due to the sale of our water facilities to the Las Vegas Valley Water District whleh becomes effective at that time. This applies to all employees carried on our payroll here in Las Vegas with the exception of myself, for which a deduction of #5*00 covering dues to the Hospital Association will con­tinue to be made as heretofore.
