GAMING LICENSE Commissioner Bunker moved the application of Reed Snitker for license for 3 slot Change of Owner machines at the Esquire Lounge, 120 South 2nd Street, said license formerly issued to Isadore Bernson, be approved and the Supervisor of License and Revenue authorized to issue the license. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. CIGARETTE LICENSES Commissioner Whipple moved the following applications for license for the retail sale of cigarettes and tobacco products be approved and the Supervisor of License and Revenue authorized to issue the licenses: NEW FORTUNE CLUB 22 Fremont Sutton Vending BLACKETT'S DRIVE INN 2100 South 5th Sutton Vending TEXACO SERVICE 1426 South 5th Sutton Vending WITTWER MOTEL 718 North Main Sutton Vending Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. REZONING - Z-10-57 The Commission considered the appeal filed by property owners protesting the approval John H. Clark of the application of John H. Clark for rezoning of the unnumbered lot in Appeal Filed Block 8, Amended Mayfair Tract No. 2 from R-4 to C-2. Commissioner Bunker moved the public hearing on this appeal be held on March 19, 1958 at 8:00 P.M. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. LIQUOR LICENSE City Manager Kennedy reported that the Police investigation of M.E. Cronenberg, Change of Owner applicant for the Retail Beverage license at the Dollar Food Basket at 433 North Main Street was favorable. Mr. Kennedy advised the Commission that this license is presently issued to Morris Diamond and Bernard Koblin. Commissioner Fountain moved the application of M.E. Cronenberg for the Retail Beverage license at the Dollar Food Basket, 433 North Main Street be approved and the Supervisor of License and Revenue authorized to issue the license. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. PAYROLL WARRANTS Commissioner Whipple moved that Payroll Warrants Nos. 19294 through 19826 in the net amount of $75,397.15 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners' Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Fountain moved that Service and Material Warrants Nos. 637 through WARRANTS 758 in the total amount of $23,252.20 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. MINUTES Commissioner Whipple moved the Minutes of February 5 and 19, 1958 be approved by ^ reference and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. CLAIM FOR DAMAGE The Commission considered the claim of Clarence R. Pefley II for damages to his Clarence R Pefley II truck in the amount of $152.40 when a run away motorcycle belonging to the Police Department ran into him at 5th and Bridger on February 20, 1958. Commissioner Fountain moved this claim be referred to the Insurance Adjuster for investigation and report. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. 3-5-58
