MEMO With reference to Sale of Business License for Third Quarter of 195**, and in view of the contemplated sale of the Company to the Water District as of August 1* 195^» the matter of whether the Water Company should pay the license fee for the full quarter was brought to the attention of the Legas Department. Mr. Cory advises that Mr. Hawkins, Assistant City Attorney, stated that we should arrange to pay the full charge for the entire Third Quarter, and when the sale of the Company is consummated we should then apply for refund for the balance of the period not used and at that time furnish Mr. Hawkins with a copy of Public Service Commission Order authorizing the LVL&W Company to discontinue water service to the City of Las Vegas at the Sale Date.
