Las Vsg&a - December 27, 19^8 R 2 Mr. A* 0. Ritter: Mr. 0. R. Savlers, President of the Sariere Electrical Products Corporation of Reno, called at the office today with a request for warehouse space, fhe Sariera Company was located In las Vegas about 1929 and subsequently moved to Reno, entering the business of wholesale distributors for radios, refrigerators and similar equipment. X am advised they now ship about 300 oars per year into Reno for distribution. Mr. Savlers advises he has now perfected an arrangement with Eastern Manufacturers to establish Las Vegas as distributing headquarters, and he will have four counties here, including one in Utah and one in Arizona. Re expects to ship in about 150 cars par year of Philco Radios, Westing-house Refrigerators and Youngstown Steel Boxes from Ohio. For the time being, he wishes to obtain warehouse space until such time as he can construct his own warehouse on Railroad property. I placed him in touch with Atlas Transfer who have sufficient room in the Bonanza Road District to take care of them temporarily; and with Teachers Building Company who have expressed the wish to build warehouses on the old Southern Nevada Industries site if suitable tenant could be secured. This for your Information and I will keep you in touch with further developments. A. M. Folger
