Note: Licenses and fines will be apportioned as follows: Police & Fire ...............$17,250.00 General Fund ............... 5,750.00 Poll Taxes go to Street Fund Cash on Hand, January 1, 1929.................................................$30,750.30 Balance Due from Second Half Taxes, 1929............................. 16,289.97 Thereupon, the following Resolution was adopted by the Board upon motion of Commissioner O.J. Smith, seconded by Commissioner W. B. Mundy: BE IT RESOLVED that the said Budget be signed in behalf of this Board by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk and the sane be filed with the City Clerk and a copy thereof published in a newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas, for two publications, one week apart. The vote on said Resolution was as follows: Commissioners Mundy, Smith, German, Neagle and His Honor, the Mayor, Aye. Noes; None. The Board then proceeded to take up the matter of the levy of taxes for the City of Las Vegas for the year 1929. Upon motion of Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner Mundy, and unanimously carried, the following resolution was adopted: RESOLVED that an ad valorem tax of $.15 on each one hundred dollars worth of taxable property
