June 24, 1903 i ;;rM Or. J.K.W.Bracken Los Vegas Ranch, Nev. Dear Sir: 1 am in receipt of your favor of the 18th inst to Mr. Clark marked personal and note what you say in regard to the labor troubles and that you are also sending a marked copy of the De La Mar paper; this has about 8000* of' barb wire for about tj mi^es of fence and your supposition plots which contain about nine springs. If this is the case and she goes to these extreme measures, it will make it very bad indeed for us on the ranch as I should think from what X know of the place, that it will shut off nearly our entire supply of water for the cattle. I have written Mr. Clark about this matter and I presume he will take some action in regard to it. of July to attend to some matters there. I would like very much to have you go but hardly see how you Gan consistently leave the ranch when you have no one you can leave in charge while you are gone, as I understand th&t nr. Holt is not now with you. I have not as yet been successful in locating a cook. not as yet arrived, however. Also that Mrs. Stewart is shipping in is that she intends to fence around the land she owns, being several small I note that you would like to go to Salt Lake about the first Very respectfully yours
