I agree.Las Vegas - May 19, 1950 ¥ 2>3-2 Mr* R. L* Adamson: Confirming telephone conversation with Mr. Maag I am enclosing herewith copy of letter from State Board of Health to the Sierra Pacific Power Company at Reno regarding the possibility of issuing Instructions covering the location of water mains with reference to sewer mains, etc. * It has been our practice to locate the water mains at least 10* distance from sewer mains when this is possible. However I am not sure that iron-clad instruction to this effect should be issued because in some locations the easement is only 10’ wide. Another thought to be considered is igj Defense Housing Projects the plumbers sometimes lay the sewer laterals inside the property lines in the same ditch as the water service lines, and there is as much hazard of contUfeiination there as there is on public property where mains are laid. Will appreciate the benefit of your advice with return of the attached. A. M. Folger 1 4 ^ , ' H t 4 r L JUN 1 2 » 5,J L* C. C.
