Maag Recommendation for Las Vegas Land and Water Co. authority to construct 2730 LF of 2070 LF of 12“, 33X0 LF of 8 H and LF of 6“ cast iron water mains and 232 LF of 6B fire hydrant connections to serve Keers Subdivision, Nevada-1, Las Vegas, Nevada at an estimated cost of |8Q,9X3 chargeable to investment of which §2433 is a donation. Heers Associates, Subdividers of Heers Subdivision, Nevada-1 have requested the water company to install water mains to serve their Subdivision. Subject to executive approval and upon execution of agreement, Heers Associates will deposit the amount of §83*780 to cover the cost of the work plus 10$ for overhead and supervision of which an estimated amount of §81,104 is subject to refund pursuant to Nevada Public Service Commission Rule 9* ®he balance of §2676 represents cost plus 10$ for constructing fire hydrant connections which is not subject to refund but is capitalized as a donation. Subject to executive approval, an agreement has been reached between the water company and the subdivider that 2730 LF of 14“ oast iron pipe is required by the water company to adequately serve the ultimate development of the area but is of larger diameter than will be required to serve the presently proposed subdivision which could be adequately served with same length of 12“ pipe and that the water company will therefore, assume the difference in cost of installing 14“ pipe in lieu of 12“ pipe which is agreed to be §47pl» Request authority to proceed with installation of water mains upon execution of usual form of refund agreement. Approval of the Las Vegas Valley Water District, under provisions of Section 13, paragraph (b) of Agreement CLD 11342, dated June X, 1953 has been obtained*
