SCHELLACK, being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is Foreman of the LAS VEGAS REVIEW- JOURNAL, a daily newspaper, of general circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached was continuously published in said newspaper for a period of Two (2) insertions from July 11, 1955 to July 18, 1955 inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: July 11, 18, 1955. ORDINANCE NO. 649 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION IV OF ORDINANCE NO. 378, REFERRED TO AS SECTION 10, CHAPTER 24, OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, 1949, BY AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN MAP ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, AND CHANGING THE ZONE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN AREAS ON THE SAID MAP. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The Land Use Plan Map adopted by Section IV of Ordinance No. 378, also referred to as Section 10, Chapter 24, Code of the City of Las Vegas, 1949 is hereby amended to read as follows: (a) FROM R-1 to R-4: Lots 1 to 5, Block 22, Wardie Addition and Lots 23 to 32, Block 21, Wardie Addition (b) FROM R-2 to R-4: Lot 21, Block 1, Van Patten Tract #1, and Lot 22, Block 1, Van Patten Tract #2 (c) FROM R-3 to C-2: All that portion of the SE¼SE¼SE¼, Section 35, Township 20 South, Range 6l East, M.D.B. &M., lying northwesterly of Fremont Street and West of 25th Street. (d) FROM C-1 to C-2: Lot 1, Block 1, Maryland Tract No. 2, together with that portion of the North 40 feet of Charleston Boulevard (now vacated) lying in front of said lot. (f) FROM C-2 to R-4: Lots 16 and 17, Block 23, Wardie Addition, and Lots 31 and 32, Block 24, Pioneer Heights Addition. SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its final reading and adoption, and final publication as in the next section provided. SECTION The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks immediately following its first reading and adoption in the Las Vegas Review Journal, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas.
