Las Vegas - February 28, 1946 1 18 - 6-3 Mr. 6. F. Ashby: Supplementing the newspaper clipping sent you yesterday regarding the growth of Las Vegas: /•* As a matter of Information I enolose copy of our letter to the Auditor for his use in compiling the Annual Report to Publlo Service Commission of Nevada^ covering our operations for the year 1945. the number of consumers continues to increase (6.3$) although the increase is not so pronounced as in previous years. Revenues also increased $11,163.66 or 8.4$. Number of gallons consumed increased 6. due to increase in the number of consumers. Increase in pipe footage in our distribution system within the City (30$) was about evenly divided between the 14,000 feet acquired from Boulder Syndicate, new supplementary feeder lines to improve service, and extensions to new sub-divisions under Rule 9-A.
