    water up the outside of the casing when the valve is closed. 9. v/herever a well flows naturally upon completion, the well driller shall, prior to moving his rig from the well, install an effective shut-off valve of a type approved by the state engineer. 10. All wells which are to be used for domestic purposes, shall be constructed as to prevent contamination or pollution. * -6- 11. The well driller shall keep a log of each well, making current records as drilling progresses. The log shall contain the following: (a) Location of wqll in reference to legal sub-divi-sions, if possible, or in reference to some land­mark, such as roads, towns, etc; (b) The kind and nature of material in each stratum passed through or penetrated; each change of formation with at least one entry for each ten foot vertical interval; (c) Size and depth of well and location of water bearing aquifers; (d) A complete casing record; including size and number of perforations in casing; (e) Date commenced and completed; name of well driller and driller's license number; (f) If well flows naturally, the flow in cubic feet per second or gallons per minute and the shut in pressure in pounds per square inch, and if nonflowing, the static water level below the land surface or other per­manent reference point; (g) If a pump test is made by the driller, a complete report of such test shall be in­cluded on the log form; (h ) Other information if and as requested by the state engineer.
