    JUNE, 1920. N I Pocket No. 132.— Grain, Whole; second transit privilege on shipments stopped for'milling, malting or mixing purposes, Ames or Cedar Rapids^ Iowa, to various points. Present; no arrangement for second transit privileges on Grain handled at Cedar Rapids, Iowa; proposed, to establish at Cedar Rapids an arrangement under which Grain given transit at'that point may be accorded a second, transit privilege for milling, malting and mixing purposes at the through rate, point of origin to destination, plus a charge of 1 cent per 100 lbs. (See Standing Rate Committee’ s report dated June 14, 1920.) Approved recommendation of the Standing Rate Committee, which contemplates the establishment of a rule under which Grain given transit at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, may be accorded a second transit privilege for milling, malting and mixing at stations in. Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan to which Grain may now be forwarded under the current privilege available at Cedar Rapids, the arrangement to be accorded withoiit the assessment of a penalty charge. Effective October 25, 1920, as announced in Rate Advice No. 3. Docket No. 134.— Cement and Plaster Bags or Sacks, Empty, returned, L. C. L., in boxes, bales or bundles, subject to requirements as set forth in Rule 560, Circular No. 17, Agent E. B. Boyd’s I. C. C. No. A-786, points in Kansas and Nebraska to Interstate points. Present, rates are based on Classification and . Class rates, Consolidated Classification No. 1, Agent R. C. Fyfe’s I. C. C. No. 14, providing 4th Class rates. Proposed, to either establish one-half of 4th Class rates for application from Kansas and Nebraska points to Interstate points or cancel the basis on Kansas and Nebraska Intrastate traffic, under approval of the Kansas Court of Industrial Relations and the Nebraska Railway Commission. • (See Standing Rate Committee’s report dated June 4, 1920.) Approved recommendation of the Standing Rate Committee, which contemplates advancing the Kansas and Nebraska State basis to the' Interstate basis on Bags or Sacks, Cement and Plaster, Empty, returned, from points in Kansas and Nebraska to’ Intrastate points. The above action to be applicable in connection with all lines and all tariffs and the Chairman to formulate application and submit it to the individuUal lines at interest in Kansas and Nebraska for presentation by them individually to the Kansas Court of Industrial Relations. Similar action to be taken on Iowa State traffic. Rate Advice No. 3 advises date effective withheld pending application to State authorities. Docket No. 135.—Rates, Class, between St. Louis, Mo., and stations in South Dakota. Present, rate basis “ QQ” reads as follows: “ Same rates as apply between St. Louis, Mo., and stations in Nebraska, where St. Louis, Mo., rates are not shown, Clinton, Iowa, rates will apply.” Proposed, rate basis “ QQ” to read as follows: “ Same rates as apply between St. Louis, Mo., and , the stations in Nebraska or South Dakota where St. Louis, Mo., rates are not shown, Clinton, Iowa, rates will apply.” (See Standing Rate Committee’s report dated June 4, 1920.) Approved recommendation of the Standing Rate Committee, which contemplates correction in C. & N. W. R ’-ys Tariff G. F. D. No. 11000-B, I. C. C. No. 7358, to provide for the application of Class rates in effect from Clinton, Iowa, to stations in South Dakota, in the absence of rates from St. Louis, Mo. \ ^ Effective October 25-, 1920, as announced in Rate Advice No. 3. 33
