Minutes of a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas held on the 5th day of December 1932 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. Roll call showed the following present, Mayor Cragin, Commissioners Mundy, German, Thomas and Hansell, and City Clerk. Absent City Attorney. Reports of Municipal Judge and City Clerk approved by the Mayor. All claims allowed as per claims and warrant register on file in the office of the City Clerk. Monies received for the month of November as follows; $10,000.00 Sale Sewer Bonds 103.33 Inst. " " 540.00 Poll Tax 130.00 Sale Cemetery Lots 69.50 Plumbing Permits 2,990.60 Fines and permits, Licenses. $12,833.43 Monies Proportioned as follows: $10,000.00 Sewer Bond Fund. 2,990.60 P and F Fund. 540.00 Street Fund 130.00 Cemetery Fund 69.50 W.S. & L. ____103.33 Sewer Bond Inst. Fund. $13,833.43 No further business appearing before the Board at this time the meeting recessed until Monday the 19th day of December, 1932 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA, DECEMBER 19th, 1932. Minutes of a recessed regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, held on the 19th day of December, 1932 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. Roll call showed the following present, Commissioners Mundy, Hansell and Thomas, City Clerk and acting City Attorney. Absent Mayor Cragin and Commissioner German. The contractors for the Federal Building now under construction in the City of Las Vegas appeared before the Board of Commissioners and petitioned that body for permission to tie into the sewer main on Stewart Street in front of the said building. On motion of Commissioner Thomas seconded by Commissioner Hansell it was moved that the contractors for the Federal Building be granted permission to tie into the sewer main on Stewart Street in front of the said building and that the work must be done by a licensed plumb­er of the City of Las Vegas, and that no fee be demanded of the Federal government for tieing into the said sewer main or for inspections or fixtures fees. Vote on said motion was as follows: Commissioners Mundy, Thomas and Hansell voting aye. Noes none. On motion of Commissioner Hansell seconded by Commissioner Thomas it was moved that one slot machine license be granted to Robert Robinson. Application being in proper form and money to cover same being on file with the Clerk. Vote on said motion was as follows: Commissioners Mundy, Thomas and Hansell voting aye. Noes none.
