Los Angeles - March 8, 1956 80-11 Mr. C. M. Bates: You have copy of Mr. Smith's letter of March 6th, his file 33^> relative to presumed completion of the work required to be done by the Las Vegas Valley Water District under an outstanding contract. I draw your particular attention to the paragraph in that letter where he states the pipe line was not constructed between points A and V along the line we presumably gave to the District in an easement as required by the contract. Can you furnish me information with respect to the actual granting of that easement so I can write the District suggesting that they reconvey it to us? E. E. Bennett
