Who?╟╓s Who in the Cast Joseph AnthonyBellomo was born on April 12, 1938 in New York City to Anthony and Josephine Bellomo. Joseph Bellomo departed this life on September 22, 1996. Left to share his beautiful memory are his wife, Diana, of Las Vegas, daughter Lisa, son. Scott, both of Santa Monica, California, mother Josephine of Las Vegas, brother Dominic of San Diego, California, and dogs Bianca, Misha, and Natasha of Las Vegas. He started his career at The Boys Club of New York in their drama department under the direction ofFred Feldt at the age of ten. He is an honorary member and in 1993 received their Lifetime Achievement award. Joe went on to perform on Broadway in 1New Girl in Town, ?╟Ñ Upon a Mattress, ?╟Ñ and South Pacific. He played ?╟ Nick Arnstein in the national company of ?╟úFunny Girl, and Victorio Vidal in Sweet Charity. ?╟Ñ In addition, he performed the role of ?╟ El Gallo in ?╟úThe Fantasticks?╟Ñfor over 1,000performances. In addition to television andfilm roles, Joe was well known in Las Vegas for his numerous lead roles in Equity musicals such as ?╟ J.D. Sheldrake in ?╟úPromises, Promises?╟Ñat the Sahara Hotel. He had one ofthe longest continuous careers as a principal singer in the production shows, ?╟úHallelujah Hollywood?╟Ñ and ?╟úJubilee?╟Ñ at the MGM Grand, Joe lovedplaying tennis and sharing his culinary expertise with his wife in their home for family andfriends world-wide. His tender nature and gentle soul were felt by many. His life was filled with laughter, song and music and he left a lifelong impression with all those whose lives he touched. He will be greatly missed and will be in our hearts forever. There is only one Joe Bellomo.
