The above entitled ordinance was read to the Board by title on July 7th, 1947 and was reported unfavorably. Later the matter was handled by Resolution. ----oOo----- ORDINANCE NO. 335 AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL SECTION 11 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 325 OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT GAMING AND OPERATION OF SLOT MACHINES IN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS WITHOUT FIRST OBTAINING A LICENSE THEREFOR; REGULATING THE SAME; FIXING THE AMOUNT OF LICENSE FEES; PROVIDING THE PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF; REPEALING ORDINANCES NO. 77, 82, 88, 103, 115, 165, 245, 271, 287, and 319, AMD ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO." The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: Section 1. Section 11 of Ordinance Number 325 of the City of Las Vegas is hereby repealed. Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its publication as in the next section provided, and final passage. Section 3. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this Ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks immed­iately following its first reading and adoption, in the Las Vegas Evening Review Journal, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas.
