KRAM MUTUAL SOUTHERN NEVADA'S MOST POWERFUL STATION Studios: FLAMINGO HOTEL, Las Vegas, Nevada ADVERTISER Attention Mr. Folger, Las Vegas Land & Water Co. #1 "As a public service, KRAM and the Hotel Flamingo remind you that it is 12 o'clock midnight... and time to turn off your lawn sprinklers. Under the city ordinance, all sprinklers should be turned off now to remain off until 5 a.m. With your cooperation in this matter, there should be adequate water for sprinkling from 6 p.m. until midnight and from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m... and it should enable those in the Las Vegas area to maintain beautiful lawns and gardens as well as adequate swimming and health facilities without lowering the water supply. #2 Special sign-off announcement for Saturday at 11 p.m. only. "It's 11 p.m. You have only one more hour in which to do your lawn sprinkling tonight. Lawn sprinkling hours are from 6 p.m. to midnite and from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. Please cooperate with the city ordinance. The inspectors cruising your neighborhood would rather not hand you a ticket for violation... It's to your advantage to observe the ordinance. Remember, sprinkling hours are from 6 p.m. to midnight, and from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. 920 ON YOUR DIAL KRAM ON YOUR DIAL 920 Affiliated with MUTUAL - DON LEE - INTERMOUNTAIN NETWORKS page 2 -- lawn sprinkling announcements.
