    RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby in executing lease, C.L.D. No. 4924, dated March 17, 1943, between Los Angeles &.Salt Lake Railroad Company and its Lessee, Union Pacific Railroad 'Company, Lessor, and Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessee, covering premises in vicinity of Myers and Aliso Streets, Los Angeles, Calif.; term begin­ning May 1, 1943, and continuing for a period of five years and thereafter from year to year, subject to termination by either party at the end of said five-year period, or at any time thereafter upon 90 days' written notice; rental $555.80 per annum, payable annually in advance; said lease terminating as of March 17, 1943, agreement Railroad Company's C.A. No. 8544, dated February 25, 1932, between said parties; be, and the^ same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby in executing lease agreement, C.L.D. No. 4921, dated March 22, 1943, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessor, and A. Meyers, an individual, doing business under the fictitious firm name of Western Transportation Company, Lessee, covering certain premises in vicinity of Aliso and Myers Streets.., Los Angeles, California, including all buildings and structures of the Lessor thereon; term beginning when certain improvements are completed, or the leased premises are occupied by Lessee, whichever occurs first, and extending for five years thereafter; said buildings and structures to be used for warehouse and distribution purposes; rental $310 per month, payable monthly in advance; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved -4-
