Fairbourne, associated with Shurtleff Bros. of Overton,Rev., asked me Friday in Las Vegas if our company lad any second hand lumber or pipe, and old bridge timbers for » sale, they to take delivery at Las Vegas. Mr. Fairbourne and Shurtleff Bros, have recently acquired 600 acre tract of land over on the Colorado River not very falTfrom Searchlight, Rev., and they intend to raise this ?winter asparagus, hay, alfalfa seed, sugar beet seed and tomato plants. They expect to start construction of a water wheel and fencing of about 100 acres within the next thirty days, and that is why they are anxious to buy from our company what second hand lumber, etc. we could sell them.
