Dear Brother, I have received a message irom Mr. Lovett quoting a message from Mr. Sproule, President of the Southern Pacific Railway Company to Mr. Kruttschnitt, of which I enclose you a copy. I also enclose you copy of my letter addressed to Mr. Lovett today. I will send him a telegram during the day, this 1 i "being a legal holiday, which he will receive to-morrow, approving of the reply which he made to Mr. Kruttschnitt. X have also received a telegram from Mr. Lovett, which reads as follows; « Your letter October Fifth. If special committee are of opinion that additional automobile cars should be ordered, notwithstanding the excessive price which I fear will not soon be less, and you approve, I will concur.” Your affectionate brother, Enc
