In honor of the occasion, Entratter invited six ex*-Follies Girls to the opening at the Sands, wined and dined them in much the same manner they were used to in the old days when stage-door johnnies rolled the carpet out for the glamorous beauties?╜ The ex-show girls loved every minute of it ?╟÷ but claimed they made more money than today's chorus girl ?╟÷ including, of course, the "gifts" their stage-door johnnies brought them.
