I agree.Showgoers will then be transported halfway around the world for a spectacular Oriental dream that includes a flying ballet, the eruption of Mt. Fujiyama and a Japanese garden bedecked with hundreds of brightly colored lanterns. A riot and jailbreak within a French women's prison will descend on the audience with all the realism and excitement imaginable. Police will be firing f,tear gas" and machine guns from helicopters flying overhead, as sirens wail and the huge Stardust stage takes on the appearance of a pitched battle. Just as quickly as the riot begins, it will end; and the Lido scene will change to a magnificent medieval palace, with all the pageantry associated with the 14th century. The stage, filled with beautiful Bluebell Dancers and Lido Girls, will then be transformed to a tournament field, where royalty will be treated to an exciting jousting match that will see live horses running toward the audience at top speed and stopping just inches away from startled ringsiders. As a finale, the Lido producers have come up with a beautiful and stirring tribute to the late Maurice Chevalier. The Ray Sinatra Orchestra will utilize a medley of songs made famous by France's greatest star as the cast of more than a hundred moves from a haute couture street of the 1930's to a chic fashion salon and then on to the grand ballroom at Maxim's. -8-
