Las Vegas - December 15, 1953 W 9-1-3 Mr. Wm. Reinhardt - Los Angeles Attention: Mr. L. C. Conner On 0ctoberf237d, I sent you copy of Mr, Wickstrom's letter to me dated October 20, 1953, relative to sale of surplus transite pipe and couplings now held in Railroad Store count which Mr. Wickstrom indicates he would like to have transferred to the accounts of the Water Company in order that it may be taken over by the Water District when pending sale is consummated. List of pipe and fittings together with value thereof was attached to Mr. Wickstrom1s letter. matter, but feel that some disposition should be made before the sale takes place. do not think the Water Company should acquire any of the 6“ transite couplings or the rubber rings listed, since the rubber rings are obsolete due to age and there is no 6" pipe listed on which these 6" couplings could be used. Can you advise status of this matter? I do not know what action you propose to take in this Referring to list attached to Mr. Wickstrom's letter, I LRM:rr
