MeS&mee: four letter of April 16 th, submitting new schedule of water rates, rules and regulations, effective June 1st, 1931: 1929, directed that we wake application to the Public Service Commission of Kevada for increase in water rates at Las Vegas at such time as we considered opportune, have concluded it will not be necessary to send this schedule to Omaha for approval. I have, therefore, signed it as Vice- President of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company, and original is attached hereto for your further handling. agreed that coincident with filing this new schedule with the Commission, information should be given the Las Vegas newspapers of ©ur intention in the premises, in order to avoid any adverse agitation. This appears to be the thing to do, and 1 shall be glad to have you instruct Messrs. Bracken and Leo HeWsutee to handle accordingly.
