I agree.Aug. 5, 1925. Mr. C. C. Barry, Auditor U, P. System, LA & SL HR Co. Los Angeles, Cal. Dear Sir: Attached is carbon of wire just sent to you and as stated therein it is impossible for me to furnish you any data back of 1912 as all my records at that time were boxed and taken to the Record Room which was then located in the Storehouse at Las Vegas, Nevada. This I believe was as instructions given by H. I. Bettis. However, the use of statement form 6 original of which has always gone to the auditor’s office was started prior to 1909 or about that time. Hoping this will enable you to get the desired information, I am Yours truly, Vice-President & Agent P.S. I am enclosing your original telegram. Please note carefully that there is nothing therein mentioning date of 1914. wre/mc
