    The legality of the bonds will be approved by Messrs. Pershing, Bos­worth, Dick & Dawson, Attorneys at Law, Equitable Building, Denver, Colorado, whose opinion, together with the printed bonds and a certified transcript of the legal proceedings will be furnished the purchaser without charge by the City. BY ORDER OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS of the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, this 5th day of October, 1955. Mayor ATTEST: City Clerk Section 2. That a copy of said notice shall, at least three weeks prior to the date fixed for the sale, be mailed to the State Board of Finance, Carson City, Nevada, and the City Clerk shall be, and she hereby is, authorized and directed to effectuate said mailing. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Com­missioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. Commissioner Bunker moved that Payroll Warrants Nos. 6559 to 7026 in the net amount of $66,297.21 be approved and signature authorized. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. Commissioner Whipple moved that Service and Material Warrant Nos. 4413 to 4548 and 4550 to 4560 in the total amount of $30,276.03 be approved and signature authorized. Motion seconded by Commissioners Fountain and carried by the following vote: Com­missioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. Commissioner Whipple moved the minutes of September 21, 26 and 28, 1955 be approved by reference and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Com­missioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. Commissioners Fountain and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed amend­ment to the Liquor Ordinance requested additional time until the public hearing has been held on October 19, 1955, before reporting. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, ALSO KNOWN AS CHAPTER 24, CODE OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 471 BY AMENDING THE BUILDING SITE AREAS PROVIDED IN SECTION 12; AMENDING SECTION 27 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 471 BY PROVIDING METHODS AND PROCEDURES FOR TAKING APPEALS FROM DECISIONS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND/OR ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT; BY AMENDING SECTION 34 TO PROVIDE FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON APPLICATION FOR ZONE CHANGES; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIO­LATION OF THIS ORDINANCE, having been reported on favorably was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Whipple moved the above entitled ordinance No. 669 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Com­missioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. Commissioners Bunker and Fountain, committee for recommendation on the proposed or­dinance on collection agencies, requested additional time before reporting. Commissioner Whipple, member of the committee for recommendation on the proposed or­dinance to adopt the 1955 Building Code, requested additional time before reporting. Commissioner Whipple, member of the committee for recommendation on the proposed amend­ment to the Warm Air Heating Code, requested additional time before reporting. Commissioner Fountain, member of the committee for recommendation on the proposed or­dinance to amend the Electrical Code, requested additional time before reporting. Commissioners Fountain and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed or­dinance governing charitable solicitation, requested additional time before reporting.
