Laa Vegas - April 26, 19&8 W 23-3-3 Mr. Frank Strongs I attach copy of letter from the planning Commission with regard to the future layout of roade west of Rancho Road, adjoining our property. For ready reference 1 also enclose print on which I have shown in yellow the proposed lo* roadway between tfPRR property and that owned by Messrs Kaltenbor© and Griffith. As we noted today, Kaltenborn has a line of trees planted along the fenoe with a roadway on his own property Juet south of the trees. From our standpoint, it would not be desirable to have a roadway in this location for ^Sunday drivers® to wander around the springs and wells. Some time ago we had a request to donate a 301 strip along south edge of the Kaltenborn-Griffith aoreage (shown on attached in orange) so that 0. J. Soherer, a local contractor, could seoure F.H.A. financing on homes he planned to build in the Wollenzien Tract, the SWf of Section 32, into which we have laid some water mains. *his would permit traffic from the wollenzien Tract two outlets, one on Oharleaton Blvd., and the other on Rancho Road, and this latter request seems more reasonable. If you concur, Commission. I will so advise the Planning A. M. Folger
