Box 472 Las Vegas, Nevada Bear Leo: Mr. Renwick, of Union Pacific, has prepared some proposed forms of escrow instructions, deeds and other instru­ments necessary in connection with the transfer of the facilities of the Land and Water Company to the Las Vegaa Valley Water Dis­trict. Mr. Renwick and 1 have gone over the various instruments at a conference this afternoon, and various suggestions made by both of us have been incorporated in the instruments. However, in view of our lack of familiarity with real property transactions in the State of Nevada, I believe it advisable that you should examine the same and make any recommendations which you feel neces­sary or desirable. Mr. Renwick advises me that he will send you directly copies of the escrow instructions, together with various other instruments. It would be appreciated if your comments and recom­mendations could be made available at an early date, since it will be necessary to send all of the documents to Omaha for execution and we do not wish to have the documents executed until we have received your approval.
