Commissioner Clark moved that the city clerk contact the electrical contractor's, electrical journeymen and the public utilities requesting them to appoint one man from each group to act on the electrical examiner's board as provided for in Electrical Ordinance No. 258. Motion seconded by Commissioner Tinch and carried by the following vote. Commissioners Smith, Tinch, Clark, Rubidoux and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. Commissioner Rubidoux moved that bids be let on the new administration building at the airport and that same be returned by February 4th, 1942. Motion seconded by Commissioner Tinch and carried by the following vote. Commissioners Smith, Tinch, Clark, Rubidoux and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. Commissioner Clark moved that bids be called for the additional wing on the War Memorial building as per plans and specifications prepared by J. A. Fleming but with an additional stair-way in back. Said bids to be returned February 4th, 1942. Motion seconded by Commissioner Tinch and carried by the following vote. Commissioners Smith, Tinch, Clark, Rubidoux and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. Commissioner Clark moved the city clerk be allowed to hire another deputy at a salary of $125.00 per month. Motion seconded by Commissioner Tinch and carried by the following vote. Commissioners Smith, Tinch, Clark, Rubidoux and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none.
