for a large amount to clear up this obligation, because 1 am oil too familiar with the tremendous pressure of requests for contributions on the hotels and casinos. When plans for the 10th International Gin Rummy Tournament were discussed, the idea of having two Tournaments a year was brought up. Your Director proposed that we could have a Tournament in the first week in December on a weekend, to help stimulate business. It was also proposed that the Main Tourna- ment be moved up to the first two weeks in June, inasmuch as this is a more vital time of the year insofar as more business is needed. We have since been called by John Drew of the Stardust, who has been speaking to some of the other members and a meeting has been requested to discuss this and other matters. YOUR ACTION NEEDED: 1. Please make out a check from your hotel, made payable to the "International Gin Rummy Tournament" and mail to the above address. 2. Attend another meeting to discuss this report - mainly, the "Two-Tournaments-A-Year" plan and also the idea of moving up the Main Tournament to June. This meeting will be held in the Ticker Tape Room of the Stardust Hotel on Wednesday, June 9, at 4:00 PM. Thank you for your cooperation. Director
